Hi, I’m Yuliya ✨

Creator of Stitchling, collector of ideas, professional coffee drinker, and accidental founder of a small kingdom of magical Beasties.

Stitchling started with a simple love for cross stitch — and somehow evolved into a growing population of tiny fantasy creatures, piles of embroidery floss, notebooks full of sketches, and an alarming number of cozy ideas waiting to become patterns.

I live in Riga, Latvia, where most Beasties are born somewhere between a cup of coffee, a stack of books, and the dangerous thought:

“What if I designed just one more pattern?”

Every Beastie begins with a feeling, a story, or a tiny spark of magic.

Some are brave.
Some are dreamy.
Some are slightly chaotic.
A few are probably plotting something.

Just like their creator.

My goal is simple: to create patterns that are relaxing to stitch, beautiful to display, and comforting to keep nearby when life gets a little too loud.

When I’m not designing, you’ll usually find me surrounded by books, candles, embroidery hoops, and enough DMC floss to confuse a small dragon.

✨ A Few Random Facts Abo ut Me

☕ I firmly believe that most creative problems can be solved with a good cup of coffee.

📚 My collection of books grows much faster than my available shelf space.

🐉 Living in Riga, Latvia, where long winters are perfect for stitching, reading, and inventing magical creatures.

🪡 I have spent more hours staring at embroidery charts than I would ever admit publicly.

🎨 Every Beastie starts as a sketch, an idea, or a random thought that refuses to leave me alone.

🧵 I own enough embroidery floss to confuse a small dragon.

🌙 Most of my best ideas arrive late at night when I should definitely be sleeping.

✨ I can spend an unreasonable amount of time choosing the perfect color palette.

🐉 Fantasy books, magical creatures, and cozy worlds inspire many of my designs.

📖 I love stories where ordinary things become magical.

🕯 My workspace usually contains candles, sketchbooks, embroidery hoops, tea mugs, and at least three unfinished ideas.

🎁 My favorite part of designing is imagining where a pattern will end up and who will stitch it.

💛 Nothing makes me happier than seeing photos of finished projects stitched by customers around the world.

🌿 I believe creativity should feel relaxing, comforting, and just a little bit magical.

🐾 The Beasties keep multiplying. At this point, I’m not entirely sure I’m in charge anymore.
